A Traxis DBS3500 is my main receiver.

I wish they would have just put everything on UHF. All the pre-transition digital channels at my location were UHF, and worked fine. Two Toledo stations moved back to VHF and the signals are much worse. I have an Channel Master UHF/VHF antenna at 45 foot. Most stations are over 50 miles...

Lost our Toledo Ohio ABC affiliate 13. And I cannot get the ABC affiliate out of Columbus Ohio either (channel 6) due to co-channel interference. So no ABC at our house . Wife is NOT happy :rant:

I have been comparing the results from both over the past few months and TVFool seems to have a lot more information, and seems more accurate. Antennaweb only shows 4 stations that are available, when in reality we currently get 7 stations.

On the remote press the OK button and then use the V- or V+ Button to navigate to the satellite you want

I hope signal levels increase after the transition. I did look at Tvfool and most listings show power to remain the same . Another site I looked at showed we will be without an NBC affiliate after the transition. :down I think around here its not going to go smoothly, as we are well over 60...

I had trouble updating the FW on the Traxis 3500 using my laptop. I gave up and tried using a deskktop PC and it worked. I don't know what the issue is , but I just use the desktop PC for all firmware updates.

Great news I was hoping the fix would soon be out. I'll be getting the update and loading it in. I also don't have alot scanned. So I will give it a try.

I also have mine connected to a C Band dish and it works well. And I agree with gabshere, I wish the Traxis would pass AC-3. I like the menus on the Traxis DBS4500 better than The DBS3500

Wow. sad news indeed. During the weekends we had the channel running alot around here. It will be truly missed. :( :( It was one of my favorite channels available FTA. I guess I can put away the Traxis DBS4500 that I had slaved to the Traxis DBS3500 so I could hear the Tube in AC-3

I am using one on my 6" orbitron and get C and Ku stuff on my Traxis receiver. It seems to work well.
