To the OP: I would not give up a Charter connection (what I have now) for AT&T DSL or U-Verse. However, I probably would give up a Comcast or a Mediacom connection for U-Verse. U-Verse/DSL will not match the speed or reliability of Charter unless you're in a bad market, which I know do exist.

Seems connecting ethernet disconnects the internal coaxial network. Wonder if this is where the Cinema Connector Kit comes in. Rather have a wired one but it looks like the only one available for self install is wifi.

I don't have a DECA. I did find a SWM ODU power inserter behind the receiver, not plugged in. Plugged it in and the ethernet light on the back of the receiver came on and it got an IP address via the ethernet port. As long as this doesn't mess something else up, it seems like a start...

NET (Nebraska PBS) in HD. Dish already has the Norfolk-Sioux City station, KXNE, in HD, and the feed is the same across the state, so if they could just distribute KXNE statewide they wouldn't have to uplink the transmitter in each market.
