Your right about this for the channels but with what I have now-granted the significant reduction in HD channels, I will still be paying about $30.00 less each month for the channels that we mostly watch. I figured since they decided to stick it to us Absolute people, why should I give DISH...

Well I waited for as long as I thought would be ok. I was not willing to see what DISH was going to switch me to. :( I now have the Welcome pachage without locals-my locals FTA are great, I added Starz and Encore so the $9.99+$13.00+$5.00 come to $27.99. I know I get a lot less of HD chanels...

Simply put; DISH can not put up anything to replace VOOM, because there is nothing available out there to equal what VOOM had to offer-even with the many repeats! So Sad:(

Ya, and it's nice to be able to listen to the "traditional type" of Christmas music also. YAY no "Santa Baby" or "Rock around the Christmas Tree" for me. :)
