so when shut off using the remote it still running inside? i thought the power button on the remote cuts off the power to the DVR.

thanks for the replies, but i just wonder where does the dvr get the info to process when powered off, i would think coming from the phone line but when i disconnected the phone line, it was still running.

thanks, i wasn't paid attention whether it's pointed to 119 or not, i just remember seeing the "wrong satellite" part. so far i'm getting all the HD channels from 129 so i would assume it aimed correctly, true? i did not really "selected" 129, it's all random, sometime it's the 119 they testing...
