I just cancelled my Dish since I'm moving to Hawaii (I'm going to go with cable at first while I figure out all the options over there). I need to send my 622 back since it is a lease -- but they also said I need to send the LNB back. I don't mind doing that -- it's just a pain to climb up...

I'm moving to Hawaii so this is of interest. Are those the only HD channels you can get in Hawaii -- no ESPN2, no Voom channels, no HBOHD, no StarzHD? Also, does anyone know what size dish you'd need to get this HD Pack? I think I might just go back to cable.

I was pretty much forced to leave Comcast. First my internet connection was going down for hours at a time at least every other day. They kept saying it was a problem in the area, sent several techs to my house and never could get it fixed. So I dumped the Internet portion and went with 6mb DSL...

Any chance you can watch shows from your homezone on computers in another location (like slingbox?). Seems like they should be able to integrate that type of feature.

yes, i got some stuttering last night on multiple channels.

That happened to me on the Office finale. It showed in my DVR list as recorded (40 minutes) but when I tried to play it the screen went black and the TV jumped back to the last channel that I was watching.

well i tried re-booting and that didn't fix it. it's just sitting there in my dvr list teasing me.

I use a regular DVR series recording (not one-time, but I don't do the full DishPass). My DVR didn't have any problem recording the super-sized Lost (extra 5 minutes) the night before. Maybe I'll try re-booting later and see if that fixes it.
