Nevermind I found it. Here it is for anyone who needs to know. Try Menu - Settings - Network Setup - Tests - View Counters Page down (above the guide button on the right hand side of the remote) to HDD High Temp, HDD Low Temp and HDD Average Temp.

I had my install yesterday and noticed tonight that the hopper is very hot. How do I check the temperatures? I have read here to mount the joey's vertical which I have since done. I just need to know how to check the temp.

Thank you for your replies. I understand now. I was thinking wed have to watch the same thing always. If each can watch recorded shows then everything is fine. You're only sharing live which we don't watch a lot of anyway. I feel a lot better now. :)

I apologize if this is covered elsewhere, but I have an install today and the tech tells me 1 Hopper and 3 Joeys ... one tv will be mirrored?? Is this correct? One of my tvs will have to watch the same thing as the other? Someone please clarify. I thought they would all be independent...

We've already got receivers as well as cable run from the outside into each room. I was thinking there would be more wires run on the inside. Our home is on a slab, so it would be run back outside to tv2. Is that how most are done?

So, TV1 would be directly hooked to the receiver just like we have it now, and then there is a cable run from the receiver to the tv2 that is in a different room? Isn't that a mess?
