Well all, I did exactly what was mentioned, hooked the 61.5 dish straight in, did a check switch, it found the DP500,lined the dish up to 61.5 (94% signal strength), put the 61.5 dish into port 2 of the DP21, put the output of the DP34 into port 1 of the DP21, and the only thing the 811 could...

I have a Superdish into a DP34 into two 811s. I am trying to get the second dish (a Dish 500 with Dishpro LNB) hooked in. From what I saw in the thread on this, the output (going to the 811) of the DP34 goes into one side of a DP21, and the second dish with Dishpro LNB goes into the other side...

I already had an 811 so we went back to E*. My impressions is the SD PQ is much better on E* and the HD PQ isn't quite as good as Voom was.

I've got a DP21 and a DP 500 dish on the way, I'll let you know.

Another option is over on Ebay. DP44's can be had for $79.00 as a 'Buy it now' item. Dishpro dishes can be had for about $39.00. Better than $300 to E* and install it yourself. Another way for only 1 receiver is a DP21 ($3 on Ebay) and the same dish will give you 61.5 to one of your receivers.

For those of us who have the Superdish with the DP34, how, and what kind of LNB does it take to get the 61.5/148 bird on a second dish? The installer tried a SW21 downstream of the DP34 with the old Voom dish pointed at 61.5 and the only signal the STB got was 61.5. So what kind of "second dish"...

Where to point the dish on E* for the Voom channels? Okay guys, I have the E* installer coming in about 40 minutes. I'm getting a Superdish installed but have an extra Dish 500 antenna on the roof already. I want to ask the installer to point it and tie it in so I'm ready for Voom on Sunday...

I've got a standalone Tivo fed by the S-video output of a 811 feeding a S-Video signal to my 65" and then I have the DVI from the 811 also feeding the TV, PQ sucks with the Tivo. I called today and nobody at Dish knew anything about it. I spent 30 minutes on the phone and had to talk to an "account specialist" to get the same terms as the "memo".

I already own an E* 811 HD receiver, so I can re-connect with no committment. I prefer a satellite provider since I take my box in my trailer and a second dish for camping in style! :)

I was thinking of Tivo'ing HDNEWS for like 24 hours starting late on the 29th and then just rewinding to see what happens, I don't stay up that late.... ;)
