    Same here. I just upgraded last week to the 722 and the installer was talking about the 922. Would have waited had I known. Upgrade date is December for us. So far, not happy with 722 :( Playback problems and not as sharp an hd picture as the 622 we had.

    There is only one hdmi cable connected to the tv and it goes to the Sony sound bar amp. Then there is one going from the amp to the 722 and one going from the amp to the bluray.     Thanks, Bob! The fact that neither the 5.x nor the 6.x remotes will control the HT-C100 Sony Sound bar has me concerned that possibly this new one won't either. But your point about $25 vs $200 is a good one. And we don't use our tv's sound either. Why bother?
