Awesome ! That works as you said as long as I then keep any Sd channels on the lower 2 quads it continues to work . Tested by tuning to an Sd channel in upper quad and it locked it up again. At least I can use it now if I watch what channels are where. Hopefully they can get that fixed someday...

Mine just did the same thing this morning while I was watching it . Screen went black then the message came up after I tried to do a red button reset. Then system rebooted in a few minutes.

Thank you for checking ! My 625 is starting to die so I am replacing it and I have some recordings I want to get on to DVD and wanted to make sure I didn't need to do it before I disconnect it. I own it and my account is in good standing so sounds like it should not be a problem . Thanks again !!!

Is it possible to watch the recorded programs off of an unactivated 625 receiver ? If so does it have to be hooked to a dish ? Thanks

The Movies & More button on my 625 is now grayed out . Now I can't watch pay per view previews. Has this been disabled on the 625 ?

Good point Scott . My Daughter wanted to watch it because the one actor is from the Twilight movies . Looks like Dish saved me money after all because I would have rented it if it was $4.99.
