I have been on the "waiting list" for some time now and I am getting a little jealous that some people are getting their 811's (although I am happy for you guys) Is there any way to find out the availability? should I call Dish and ask how much longer?

I am starting to feel the same way. I can't believe that I am saying this, I was a "die-hard" Dish guy. I called and/or visited 3 local retailers today, none of them have a date when they might be available. 2 of them told me a couple months. This goes for the SuperDish in my area too...

I just got the good news that my locals will be available on the 11th of Dec.. They are going to be at 121. I am going to get the 811, AT150 and locals. I currently have Dish 500. I know I will need SuperDish for locals, but will I need another dish for HD stuff?

I thought it was "advertised" that Michigan could be SuperDish ready for local channels in 2003...http://ekb.dbstalk.com/19 I know this is just another promise, but I was hoping for sooner than August...!
