    I don't get any ota channels, but my dvds look good. I have a Sony kp46wt500 tv. It has an auto convergence button, I already tried that. Maybe the soft and fuzzy is a little much, but I swear it isn't the exceptional picture that I used to have. I'm probably just getting used to it. Thanks...

    Well I seem to be the only one thinks that the picture has gone down hill. Maybe I will have my eyes checked. I swear that the HD picture on Voom is not as good as good as it used to be. Seems fuzzy, soft and just not as good. Someone tell I'm not alone :(

    I understand that some of the films are transfered, but I seem to notice that the even the ones that are filmed on 1080i (discovery channel, hd news)don't look as good as the used to. This is compared to say...about a month ago. :confused:

    I may be getting used to HD, or the SD has gotten better. Either way I think that the image has gotten softer with Voom. On the hdnews channel the news woman does not look as sharp as she used to. The SD channels are better than they used to be, maybe thats why I don't see the night and day...

    FYI Signal Problems Tonight

    Sunspots, I was told solar flares. Either way, why would that only effect certain channels? Oh and how are they working on fixing the "sunspot" problem?

    I think I got it :eureka . To get the $399 and free programming deal I need to: 1) Go to Sears buy the $50 Voom card. 2) Wait for it to get into the system. 3) Call Voom back. :yikes

    Has anyone actually paid $399 at Sears? Is anyone getting free programming that bought Voom after the price drop? Just want to get my facts straight before I call Voom :D .

    I called Sears and asked how much they are charging for Voom, get this, the guy said $750. I guess up here in Maine they didn't get the memo.

    I still pay $39.90 a month for programming. It only costs $399 at Sears :shocked. I'm going to call Voom on that one.

    I ordered Voom 3/3/04 went with the purchase price of $499. I'm wondering now if I made a bad choice? At the price of 9.50 a month it would take almost 4 1/2 years to get $499. Should I try to change to the lease program or stick with what I have? I haven't been charged anything yet...
