Love Dish. But I love My Iowa Hawkeyes more. My have to switch after many years.

2 Hoppers 2 joey here. One big issue so far. When I went to use the app's it would not leave the app's screen. It would change channels in the back ground but the app's screen stayed on top. Had to reboot then it worked. Second Hopper does this too. Sorry if this has been addresed.

Will the remotes talk directly to the hopper or will they communicate through the joey's. I have a 922 and a 612 that have trouble receving signals from their remotes. the 622 is only 15 ft away (behind a wall and some wiring) The 922 is the second remote about 40 ft away.

I was told by a level two tech at dish that the free app for android will be released this week.

You get what you pay for. I have two LCD's both Vizio's they where both under $350 a 22 inch and a 32 inch both look great and don't use much power no glare and great color as for quality they both still work so who knows. I also have a Pioneer Kuro. (I don't even want to tell what I paid for...

I have two 612's and have the same issue with both. The first time that I push the guide button after it has been in sleep mode I have to go through several steps to get the guide button to work like it should. First when I push it it will go to a page (999) that wants me to pick AllHD, AllSUB...

Does this mean we will have to have a wing dish? I was hoping that we would be able just install a 1000.4 and still use one dish.:confused:

I Skype'ed the show and asked about the Davenport HD locals and they responded by saying that was a good question and did I have a camera so that I could ask that on the air. But never got on. I'm not sure that the left hand knows what right hand is doing at Dish!!

I submitted a question asking when the Davenport Iowa locals would launch. This must be what they are looking for. Because Dish contacted me and asked if I had a camera and would be available.
