    Dude, you are thinking of the 1000.4 western arc setup, NOT eastern. You do not get any mpeg2 (SD) programming through a 1000.4 eastern arc setup. Refer to Matt's post higher up in this page.

    I don't think you can have the wireless and external storage on the same port on the receiver.

    In the vizio settings look for something along the lines of ambient light sensor or the sort and turn it off. This is a common issue in the field with the new TVs

    I have a pair of $110 Red Wing boots. They aren't insulated but are waterproof and have a 1/2in heel lug. For winter I just use heavier socks when it nears -40F and they work great. The laces are the weak point but I just use 550 paracord and burn the ends for new laces...

    Dude, some of your facts are out of date. There is no more $40 fee. The $6 DVR fee is only for DVR (built-in) receivers like the 612, 622, 722, 625, 512, etc... Not the 211. Early termination fees are $17.50 per month for new customers that sign up with a 2 year contract..

    Only the phone-based Dishcomm modem will show up there along with other receivers in the home. I'd call Dish and say the Slinglink has ceased working and see if they can send you a new one or have someone come out and fix it for you.

    Menu, 6 1 8 2. Reset connection. It should also list the ethernet and homeplug (slinglink) MAC address on that screen. The slinglink basically acts as a bridge but the router may only see the slinglink connected when it comes to MAC addresses.
