Well, I tried.. Stayed on chat with about 6 different operators, kept Losing connection, etc... all I could get was the $10.00 discount, Starz, and the HD Plat. for a year.

Ugh.. I received the letter, called as I wanted to go ahead and switch if I had to anyway. But the operator I talked to told me to do nothing and I had to wait for Feb. 1st to see my offer.

No, Not familar with OSHA, but Dish Did Not have his attitude and gave me $60.00 off my bill and I have had tons of apologies, so I don't think that is a requirement?? I would never walk on someones carpet new or otherwise with clay mud all over my shoes.

What about the "free" Home protection plan?? Should I cancel that now, or does that even matter??? I am getting hooked up Tuesday with the HD Absolute. I don't want to lose it!!

I am getting service on the 29th, with the "free" home protection Plan. I do not want that past the Free time, would that count in cancelling my allHD, since I would be taking that off my account? Maybe I should just tell them I don't want that at all?? Or does that even matter?

I was told that same thing. 720p is supposed to be better than the 1080i. I have one of each, but have not compared anything yet.

OK, I am really confused!!! I AM a new customer, they are supposed to bring out my things and set up service on the 29th. (All HD and locals) Should I wait then?? Would I get a better deal? Seems that package with 2 receivers (1-dvr) would be cheaper then???

Well, I think I am understanding it right. My package is $34.99. (HD only with locals) + fees for the dvr, and extra receiver was like $45 plus change. From What I have read here, the $34.99 would be $29.99 with the new set up. Is that right??

Totally new customer.....I ordered the All HD with locals, to be set up on July 29th, now I am wondering if I should just order the new Package they are going to offer? Seems it would be $4.99 less a month with the one dvr (and regular box) I am getting. Since they are including the dvr for free...
