I'm a current Dish customer with the AT120 package. Have a single dish 500 somehow crammed into my small apartment patio. It receives 110 and 119 programming. If I want to upgrade to HD (maybe lease a 811 receiver), would I need a second dish pointed elsewhere ? I heard that VOOM might need...

I don't turn the receiver OFF - ever :) I've set it up to download updates at night (I think EPG updates and possibly software) ... after that, the receiver waits on that dumb "Press Select To Continue" animation. Since 2.36 I need to hit select TWICE to get to my channel .... yeah it...

What's up with 2.36 ? Ever since I got that version (I think a few days back), my 522 wants to do Hard Drive Diagnostics when I bring it online in the morning (after pressing select TWICE - like many others have complained !!) Its a dumb screen that says something like this test will take...

Oh wow -- didn't know that "option" costs >$200 :) Its no longer an option for me !!! Yeah -- what's one more cable ? - I already have 3 running ... I can handle 4 :) Would call DISH and set all of this up ! Any references on OTA antennas ? - what do they cost approximately ?

Thanks .... so I don't have to necessarily run one more cable ?? What is this DP44 thing ? Would that somehow "split" one of my existing cables into two ? Any signal degradation / other problems with using this -- or is it as good as running a new cable ? Thanks :)

Hey folks: My first post here :) Am an existing Dish customer with a 522 receiver (under DHA plan - leased). Want to get HD :) -- was thinking about adding a 811 to the mix so that I'll have HD+522 on my main TV and 522 servicing the 2nd TV (that way I can have DVR on both TVs)...
