Satelliteguys does indeed rule! I had the same problem with PT not recording and it was because I lost Fox due to a carriage dispute, so I had to uncheck that box. I came here to search for a solution and there it was on the first page. It is weird that the software wouldn't allow for that...

I agree with nelson61. Pretty cheap to just try it with RG6. I've run 200' to a joey with no issues. Don't know if another 50' will matter or not.

You can "side load" the android app to the Kindle Fire HD, as noted in various Kindle forums, but it doesn't give you off-line download, at least in my experience, but I can watch stuff when I have a wireless connection. It is a bummer that the Fire HD is left out. Maybe it's hardware related?

Sharing dishes (separate accounts) is very common in AK. Probably half the dishes in my town are shared, not only because of size/expense, but mainly because of LOS. Dodging around trees, hills, mountains, aiming at something very low on the horizon....the things we do for TV.

Every time I have had an odd-even issue, it has always been a bad cable or connector. Since you've ruled them out, it's got to be the LNB. Good luck.

I've noticed this too since getting the Hopper. I've had the hopper awhile now and have kinda gotten used to it. My issues don't seem to be as bad as "dune", but like the other Alaska post, I lose espn2 occasionally...it's like the Hopper thinks I'm in a blackout area and can't get the game...

If this happens to anyone else, it was a bad hard drive or related hardware in the Hopper. Replaced the Hopper and all is well.
