    Pole Mount

Ok, found out the rule. No mounting to building structure and no digging into ground. drove around today and saw 1 in ground, but the rest were either cemented into flower pots or 5 gallon buckets. I will get cement and flower pot. What material should I get the 2" pole in? PVC?

Been gone a long time- Interested in Direct

I would really only need 1 DVR, but would also want all the premium channels and all HD I could get, so I have to figure that out now. Since Comcast is so damn expensive, if dish works (it would probably have to be tripod mountee), I think I am going to go that route. Does it pay to go...

So $199 upfront and that is to lease all 3 receivers? Yes is the Yankees Network (I live in NJ). So it worksout to 86 per month for 1st year, then roughly $107 + tax for year 2? That will get me all HD + their biggest channel pack? Thanks for your help. I will have to see if my...

I am fairly certain the DVI jack works simultaneoulsy with the Component jack. Pretty sure you will be ok with svideo and comp or HDMI.

    8300 User Experience and Tips

Some nice tips I did not know about. While not as polished as some of the older Dish PVR's (501/522) I had, the 8300 is far more stable then the 522 ever was AND records HD :).
