4:2:2 is more of a codec issue. Of course, I'm using a PC tuner card, but you can get the video OK with the right codecs. DVBDream does it well for me using Etymonix or MainConcept.

I scored a free SuperDish off Craigslist and wonder if anyone has found any FTA use for that "big eye" DP DBS/FSS Dual Band lnb.

I'd buy a C-band lnbf for some spare 30+" dishes that I have laying around.

We used to go camping and fishing on the Russian River in NorCal and once in a while go to Sequoia to go camping. Loved being in the woods with those big redwoods and giant sequoia. This would be the perfect size setup for ease of FTA scanning.

Thanks, turbosat I'll try re-tracking the arc and getting my string of pearls all lined up. I just didn't understand how you can get a very strong signal on one transponder and not get a blip from any of the other transponders on the same sat. Guess logic doesn't always work.

I use that same dish to get 123w and it works very well. Just tweak the skew a little either way until you get a signal peak. Sometimes the plumb of your dish is not exact and thus the given settings for your location don't work. That sat has a very strong signal and is one of the only sats...
