On DirecTV.com click on Customer Service then Rebate Center. You will enter your DTV Acct# and Zip Code and it should show the rebates you are eligible to apply for. Just click the Submit Online button and confirm your account info.

Definately a signal or box authorization problem. Perhaps the signal is weak, sounds like you need them to roll a truck to test. How many splitters do you have upstream from the box?

I was aware of the "Speedboost". The speedtests that were run use large files so they are not swayed by the "boost". Many use a "Speedo" type dial that shows in progress. Check out the speed tests on DSLReports.

Of course it's steep, $15 for 10gig is a penalty for going over the download cap. Doesn't have anything to do at all with data rates. BTW: I recently tested at almost 14Mbps for a service that only bills itself as 6Mbps.

Welcome to the world of Comcast HD. We just received 5 new ones here in Atlanta this week (ABC Family, Disney, Science, AMC & TLC), we had the other ones already.

Unless Philly has a large stock of previously installed DCT models they should not be handing them out as only already deployed DCTs are the ones allowed to be used as of last July per the separable security mandate by the FCC. Ones that are turned in can be re-deployed. If that's the case...

Yep, I've noticed the drop in quality on some of my Comcast HD channels. Apparently they're not doing the same extra compression on HD locals though because those look as good as they always have. While I appreciate that they are trying to beef up their HD channel numbers, I have to say that...
