    Do you have to have an ein number to get paid by the company you work for? They are telling me I need an EIN number to get paid, but I have been subcontracting as a sole proprietor and never have needed one.

    I need some assistance. I just bought a used Birdog 2.5 from a dishnetwork guy. and i was trying to update the program but wasn't able to. is there a trick to this? I used the cable and even got a special directv cable but it still didn't work. please help
