My install went very well. The installer was very friendly and knew what he was doing. I offered to connect the receivers while he was putting up the dish. Happy with my service.

I am also getting Dish installed this afternoon. :) Should be simple install since I am replacing Direct Tv equipment. I assume they use the existing cables and just switch out the dish and receivers.

I haven't had a phone line hooked up for 3 months now and have never been charged extra. I got rid of my land line and using cell phone only.

The hdmi cable does carry a digital signal of both the video and audio. The coaxial output is a digital audio signal. I use the s-video output on the 211 into my dvd recorder along with the red and white rca output and it works fine. I have component cables to connect the dvd recorder into the tv.

I live in Nebraska and just moved service to Kansas City last week to get there hd locals. What a big difference watching the big 4 networks in hd. Awesome. The only thing I miss is the local news. Dish only lets you have one local market.

Anyone know if Omaha, NE is on the list this year for Dish to get local hd stations? I know Omaha is #75 on DMA list.
