I have a collection of external drives, from 200 GB to 1TB can I mount them (to a Linux box) and copy individual folders to a large size drive? Or is my only choice to move to my hopper, then to a larger drive?

So it turns out my hopper lost power, due to a tripped gfci. I can restart my router, but in this case it wouldn't have helped. My Hopper 3 doesn’t seem to be responding when using my DA app. When I check its status in the app, it shows red, but I’m unable to reset my receiver. Older versions of the DA app would allow one to restart the receiver, but I haven’t seen it as an option for a while. I’m not able to get to...

I stumbled on a kind of work around to stream from the hopper, at least on an iPhone. Keep the phone in portrait view, start streaming from the web, then tap the info button, then tap the play button. It will start streaming from the hopper. It works with most of the stream from web channels...

I found that if I’m watching a streaming channel and reduce the screen size from full screen, there is a button for info. After pressing it, if I press the watch button the DA will then switch over to the hopper.

I guess I’ll just have to rely on the record button and then watch on dish anywhere.

Does that allow me to turn off the streaming? On my iPhone, I have the option to filter channels that are streaming, but I’m not seeing a setting to enable/disable. I will check on my fire sticks a bit later tonight.

Is the toggle on the settings page for dish anywhere? A nice thing about the network stream is multiple devices can stream simultaneously, but sometime id like the option to pause and skip back,
