    swm align without a meter

I'm not worried about the actual alignment of the dish, I've setup many fta dishes as well as single lnb Dtv stuff and a few dish 500's... Its the actual swm hardware and the newer receives I'm not familiar with. Just want to make sure It can be done with the receiver, cause I don't want to buy...

    swm align without a meter

What do you mean by swm software already loaded? This is going to be an upgrade for me, well basically a new install. I have to get all new receivers as well as the dish and so forth. Will the receivers I get be ready to go providing they are for the swm lnbf?

    Ecoda 22Khz reliability

Finally solved my problem Don't know if it was luck, but two of the same lnbf's fixed my problem. My thought was since these switches pass power on both sides at the same time, if one lnbf was drawing more current than the other the other wouldn't work. I have no way to test the current...

    Ecoda 22Khz reliability

Now what? The second ecoda worked fine for 5 days before it stoped switching to the 22k side. So I switched that lnb to the off side just to make sure it was the switch, and it was. Then I put it back were it was, and its working again. Now I don't know if its the switch or my setup. Could I...

    Ecoda 22Khz reliability

I did not get mine from Sat Hobby, all though it looks just like DJ Robs pic. Mine came from MXmart. I was just looking around randomly at a half a dozen or so websites, and all the ecoda 22k switches look the same...If they are clones I havn't seen anyone selling a real one.

    Ecoda 22Khz reliability

    Ecoda 22Khz reliability

It it wired Receiver---> motor---> Diseqc---> ecoda. There are four lnbs, right now. Motor on port 1, stationary on port 2, two staionarys port 3, with ecoda, I'm going to be using port 4 for another dish I haven't put up yet. The weird thing is it went bad in the middle of watching...

    Ecoda 22Khz reliability

I just had a new Ecoda go bad after two days, it stoped switching to the 22Khz side. I know these are supposed to be good switches. Did I maybe just get a hold of a bad one?

How to remove broken wire from female F connector

A very small drill bit could be used, twisting it in will catch the wire and you could pull it out.
