    5G US C-band launch

I think we have more to worry about when we have a transmitter pressed to our ear. An antenna across the street, or 5 miles away won't do nearly as much damage.

    OTHER discrepancy between lyngsat.com and ftalist.com ?

On some of the older receivers you had to keep one transponder in the list or your satellite list would be corupted (azbox for sure). That isn't always the case any more. A good strong active transponder will help locate the satellite, but once you have the dish aimed and peaked you should be...

Link: FCC, Wireless Industry Take Aim At C Band Satellite Spectrum for 5G

Charlie is a stubborn guy, but not a very consistent one. He wont follow the world when it comes to an ota broadcast standard, but he is willing to take bandwith away from American broadcasters to follow the rest of the world.

Titanium Satellite Titanium ASC 1 gone bad after 1 month in use

A simple code is really not that simple. The code is actually a symptom of a problem. A thermostat code could be caused by a bad radiator cap. The auto parts store will read the code, print out a description, and give you a list of common causes along with part numbers that they can sell you...

    C Band Dish Registration

I have no issue with registering my dish. The only issue I have is the fee, $425.00 is a bit steep for hobby use.

Aligning Atlantic side of h-h dish

Taking this a step further, Try peaking the dish on each satellite east of your azimuth one at a time. after you make adjustments on the east side, go back to the west an equal distance from zenith and check your signal(quality). Once you are balanced on both sides, check your zenith again. If...

Aligning Atlantic side of h-h dish

I know I am a bit late joining this thread, but I think the problem here lies in the fact that the azimuth is set too far west and the elevation is too high.

    Recommendation for BUD Positioner

I have been using an ASC1 to move my 12ft paraclipse since the unit was released and it hasn't failed me yet (even with a dish full of snow). It is also powering two power hungry pll lnbs. It is well worth the extra money.
