My understanding that the Super Joey does not work with the Hopper 3. I have a Hopper with sling and it does add two more tuners to the existing 3 tuner on the HWS.

I have a HwS with OTA, Super Joey, and 2 Joeys. Before the software update, I would have to channel up / down to correct the the pixelization issue about once or twice a day. Its been two weeks since the updates and have not seen any pixelization on any of my Joeys. Happy camper!!

I called Dish about this retention offer, the CSR had no idea what I was talking about. They did offer a $25/month discount with a one year commitment. I took it, will see what kind of discount I can get in a year.

One my remotes would not accept commands on my HWS. Called Dish about it and they sent a new at no cost. Paired the new one to HWS and works fine accepting commands.

Dish has a new Hopper software update 728 that came out on Friday. Try downloading manually instead of waiting for Dish to download. Maybe the new update will fix it.

Does Dish list the new software upgrades somewhere to see what might be fix?

Thanks for the information. I did not realize that the HWS would not update with a Joey turned on. I will watch this forum for any HWS software updates and follow your suggestions.
