I have a HWS connected to Comcast Xfinity xFi. My Comcast modem has some software installed that blocks malicious incoming IP addresses from attacking my home network. Almost every night the modem blocks around 2:00 AM from this this IP address: 67.148.153.41 Port 5101.

I did a simple search on the IP address and it looks like it is EchoStar trying to talk to my HWS. I have ability to allow this IP address to communicate with my HWS. Has anyone seen this? Should I keep blocking it?

Not sure if a HWS can be hacked.

I ran into the nightly blocking against my H3 when I had xFi Advanced Security enabled. Unfortunately, it also blocked the nightly read of my Nielsen box, so I disabled Advanced Security.
