    Regarding satellite positions

Hi guys Thanks for your replies, from the discussion my understanding is different satellites can be placed very closely (with fractional degree different), but when we look at from the earth, then all the satellite signals may received from same longitude position. I am having one query...

    Regarding satellite positions

Dear All My understanding on satellite position is at each longitude there will be only one satellite, but when i referred LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite i found Eurobird 1 Astra 2A Astra 2B Astra 2D Are all at 28.2 deg East. Similarly some other satellites are also there. Can...

My conditional access module stops descrambling

Dear Radar Thanks for your reply. For your more information, i am having 2 units of same STB. In which one is running with ASTON and other is running with Alpha Crypt. The unit with alphe crypt is running properly for the same signal. I am facing the problem with only ASTON. Regards...

DiSEqC motor is not moving properly

Hi thanks for your input. But i found one thing when i was testing yesterday, After i recalculate the positions, if i stored the positions manually, then all recalculated positions were remain in the ROM, otherwise it is not stored. Similar is the case with goto reference also.

DiSEqC motor is not moving properly

Hi checked in USALS standards, this is the input they are providing, but it is not answering me. If you have any idea please help me out. “(Re-) Calculate Satellite Positions” Command byte ‘6F’ with various data parameters can give the user/installer various types of “short-cut” to setting up...

DiSEqC motor is not moving properly

Hi I am having a SG2100 DiSEqC motor, in my set top box there is a option called recalculate position, which will recalculate all the stored position. sometimes this command is not working properly. I did the below tests, i stored following dish positions in location 1,2,3,4 respectively...

    Regarding Dual band LNB operation

Hi i checked in the forum, this is the input i got for L band calulation Lo1: X over > downlink or (Lo2 and Xover should 0) otherwise it will take LO2 for L band calculation. I my testing is set Xover as zero

    Regarding Dual band LNB operation

Hi thanks for your input My understanding is LNB will provide the output in the range of 950 MHz to 2150 MHz. So 11610 - 10600 = 1010 MHz Similarly 11610 - 97500 = 1860 MHz Now the L Band frequency is valid in both the cases, so i can select any one LO frequency . If that is the case then...

    Regarding Dual band LNB operation

hi I am having a universal dual band LNB with LO values as 10.6 GHz and 9.75 GHz. I am using sun DTH network. It is having a downlink at 11610 MHz . If i tune my box to below value it's locking Downlink 11610 Lo1 9.75 Lo2 0 Xover 0 22KHz OFF Lband 1860 MHz If I use my high band then...

DiSEqC Motor is not Moving when horizontal Polarization is selected

Thanks for your input These are my observation during the test 18 V: RF port ---> DiSEqC dish positioner ---> LNB: motor moves a slight amount, then stops (no measurements) 13 V: RF port ---> DiSEqC dish positioner ---> LNB: motor moves properly (no measurements) 18 V: RF port --->...
