Make the EHD work like Dish's do and just store content and not take over the DVR OS. That has to be (among) the silliest thing ever.

This EHD methodology is one thing that DirecTV needs to correct. Dish has them beat by miles on this functionality, and not just a few miles...

tried two times at the regular dtv number and was denied with the story about not being able to get both the AAA and the referral. called again to the dedicated referral number and they took it no questions.

did ask why each time. usual answer was because the calendar would not let them. some seemed amazed that they were unable to schedule a date, and were unable to give any answer as to why. on more than one occasion I was told the issue was being elevated and I would get a call back shortly...

then they should say that and not just put off the install again and again without saying why. that doesn't seem so unreasonable....
