    SG9120B Angle/Bracket Question

If come to the opinion that it is the motor. I have a Manhattan receiver that positioned my old Digipower motor perfectly. The motor shaft play does not help. I have to use DiSEqC instead of USALS as it never positions correctly under USALS. I found the happy place at 72 and 125. I'll live with...

    SG9120B Angle/Bracket Question

Hi, Yes I did drive it via USALS to 72 and confirmed that it moved a few degrees(I'm at 75). I can't even receive anything adjusting the motor manually on the outer sats. I just picked up a new carriage bolt so I will try again I the morning. I was hoping it was something easy as misreading...

    SG9120B Angle/Bracket Question

Thanks for the responses. I managed to snap the elevation bolt on the dish so I had to stop for now. Before that I had it aligned to my closest south sat at 72. Works great there but not so much on others. It gets worse as it moves west. The pole is plumb and the dish and motor that were...

    SG9120B Angle/Bracket Question

I have replaced my KU setup with a SG9120B motor(42mm shaft) and a Geosat Pro 90CM dish. I have seen the threads that state the SG9120B manual is not correct and the the dish elevation should be 30-declination not 40-D. Question: Does that mean the motor bracket settings in the manual are...

SD Experience with Dish in South Jersey?

Hi Stuart....I'm in Cherry Hill. The SD locals picture is ok. Not the greatest once in a while..soft and a little blurry but watchable. I mostly watch HD and only watch SD locals when the HD audio goes out of sync. The other channels are very good. Good luck on the installer. Evey Dish dispatched...

My setup consists of a 90cm Fortec dish, Invacom QPH-031 LNB, a DMSI DISEQ switch, two Pansat 3500sd, Viewsat Extreme and a Twinhan card. Birdog trouble

What bird are you trying to get? What king of set up do you have? Make sure you have the proper satellite profile that has the correct polarity and LNB type loaded in the meter. I assume that you are getting video despite the meter showing a signal strength with no lock? I know my Birdog will...

    usals Digiwave HH990 dish motor

Not sure why the Pansat is not working with the motor. The Viewsat Extreme is junk when used in USALS. It has a long history of driving the motor to the wrong spot. It also forgets the Disecq 1.2 positions. I cannot wait to ebay mine.

Any satellites not in the Clarke belt?

The Clarke Belt represents satellites that are in geostationary orbit. There are may other types of orbits for different applications. Below are two links to sites that describes this in detail: http://www.geo-orbit.org/sizepgs/geodef.html#anchor542217...

    E* Billing, Act 2

I have been trying to resolve billing problems with these idiots for months. They will try to tell you that you receivers are leased and that you are contract when you are not. I had a scheduled a 622 lease upgrade and the installer never showed. Of course dish was no help and could not figure...

Do I need a Motor with a wider arc than a Satcontrol SM3D22?

. No limits set on the receiver.I did try the dish manual switch and that gave me the same results. I guess most motors only allow 50 degrees or less from the zero position on the motor east and west?

Do I need a Motor with a wider arc than a Satcontrol SM3D22?

I doubt it ,but can I chage my true south sat? I can't see below PAS9 in the east due to obstructions leaving me with an 30+ on the motor on that side.
