My 301 is still on P2.01. Any ideas why?

I just signed up for this promotion so I could get a second reciever for my wifes vehicle. Sweet deal. $49 for the JVC plug in play and it included the mobile mounting equipment. Strike while the irons hot. My understanding is this promotion is about to expire.

Has anyone had any experience setting up the Sony RDR-GX7 DVD recorder on a Dish 301? I'm wondering if the 301 can be setup to start and stop a recording on the Sony DVD-R using the 301's IR blaster control?

Does anyone know if Wausau is still planned? I heard someplace that Wausau was dropped from the list. -- Jeff
