Sony DVD recorder

Has anyone had any experience setting up the Sony RDR-GX7 DVD recorder on a Dish 301? I'm wondering if the 301 can be setup to start and stop a recording on the Sony DVD-R using the 301's IR blaster control?

I have the RDR-GX7 and and Dish 811 and Dish 6000. I have not been able to get either one to work with the Sony DVD Recorder. Have you figured out what the code to get the remote working is?
