Well they dicked us around with Roanoke VA HD locals - coming in March to coming soon to who knows when the hell we'll get them, so i guess i shouldn't be very surprised or disappointed that they didn't get the national HD up as promised. Making promises and not meeting them is getting pretty old.

I hope you're right Digi. At any rate the locals apparently aren't coming this month which is really disappointing, especially after Dish said they would have them in March. I just hope Direct doesn't get them up first. I have heard that Direct is out of capacity until they get new birds up...

I attempted to have the DVR feature activated for my 211's and it took THREE phone calls to do it. Each time I got an overseas rep with broken English, yet a very American name. When i first hooked it up, it didn't work. So I called back and got another overseas rep. Still couldn't fix it...

Thanks, i'll check out Staples. Their website says $159.99 for a 750GB WD my book, so hopefully my local store has them on sale. That's hell of a price.

Just wondering if anyone out there could let me know of a model number of external hard drive that they know will work with a 211. Want to make sure it will work BEFORE i purchase it. Also, can anyone tell me if I have two 211's if i have to pay $40 each to activate the dvr capability on them...

versus/golf hd channels does anyone know what Dish's plans are when Versus and Golf HD split? i haven't seen anything in threads to this point.
