    91W NIMIQ 6 completely active now....footprint changed

Hi Dave-CanuckinNY. Thanks for your info. Good to know. Very weird, though. I've just noticed that my signal strength on 91 is in the 50s and 60s again and I havent changed anything! My oriiginal 18 incher for 91 is producing signal strength again after having gone to zero after the new...

    91W NIMIQ 6 completely active now....footprint changed

Is Bell 91 viewable anymore from NYC, western Long Island (start of Nassau County border)? I needed to upgrade the 82 satellite to a 76cm dish and reception is good. Will a 76cm dish work in bringing back 91 to the NYC/western Long island area? Any reports from people there? Thanks

    91W NIMIQ 6 completely active now....footprint changed

Hi,,I have a 3o inch/76cm dish set-up for Bell's 82 degree satellite on my roof near JFK airport just across the Nassau County border in Long Island, NY. My signal strength is quite good on all transponders,,from a minimum of 66 to a max of 79 with the majority in the mid 70s. I obviously need...

Why only MDU DirecTV receiver can work with SWM MFH2 in apt?

Yes,,,I have. And, the non-MDU receivers have not been able to detect the SWM. I do the exact same set-up as the MDU receiver, and the MDU receiver detects the SWM and gets a satellite signal. The non-MDU receivers only pick up a signal when connected to the legacy ports.

Why only MDU DirecTV receiver can work with SWM MFH2 in apt?

Hi,,,I have DirecTv in my house, and I also have access to DirecTV via MDU in a part-time working apt. What is strange is that only the official MDU/DirecTv receiver supplied when I signed up-- a D12-- successfully sees the SWM and gets a satellite signal from it. The building uses an MFH2...

Hi OCK in Alabama-- Are you using an 18 inch dish? If you are and getting a good signal on the 4 transponders I have lost signal on, I guess my question is answered. Thanks

In NYC-- lost several Bell xponders on 91

Has anyone lower than "30 miles North of Times Square" lost total signal on the 4 mentioned transponders? Maybe signal strength is still good north of NYC, but disappears south of upstate NY.

In NYC-- lost several Bell xponders on 91

Thanks,,,I will re-adjust my dish. But, I am curious. Have the majority of your transponders lost or gained strength? Had you lost total signal on any transponder during the last few weeks before the signal returned? And, what do you think it means that the 4 transponders (18, 22, 24, 26) lost...

In NYC-- lost several Bell xponders on 91

Hello....I'm aware that Bell's 82/Nimiiq 4 satellite removed access to most people below the Canadian border, but with their main satellite at 91 degrees I have lost total signal -- 0 signal strength-- on transponders 18, 22, 24, and 26. It's been this way for a few weeks (though it must be said...
