    Thank you for all the responses. I did not take the old dish with me but I have the old KU-LNBF and the Coship receiver. Can I use the existing Direct TV dish but replace the LNBF with my old KU-LNBF? What is DVB-S?

    Can I use a Direct TV dish to watch Chinese FTA programs such as CCTV4 and CCTV9. I have a Coship receiver, which was used in a setup to watch Chinese FTA programs in my previous home. I am wondering if I can just use the Direct TV dish directly with the Coship receiver? I do have a KU-LNBF...
