It worked fine with the stream box connected to the Seiki TV. I moved it back to the main TV where I pulled the entertainment center away from the wall so I could see the splitter. The splitter has an EDID switch that you can choose "TV" or "STD". I changed this to "STD" and everything works. :)

I'm also considering switching to Stream. I'm thinking about using two of the Stream Devices so my wife has an easier interface. What is the "C71"? DirecTV is offering "Certified Restored" devices for $49.99. Is this the same as the C71?

I think I will be charged $7 per month for the second wireless Genie. If I only have two tvs, do I need the second Genie?

What if I have a sound bar that does not accept RF? Do I need to use a separate remote for volume?

Do the wireless Genie Minis require line of sight to the remote control? Can I operate them from another room and/or have them hidden behind other stereo components?

I believe I also read that picture in picture is only available on the tv connected to the main Genie server. How does that work if it is not connected to a tv?

I am probably going to leave Dish because we lost Fox Sports Ohio. We have quite a few recordings on the DVR. Will Dish require me to return the Hopper which we received just over two years ago? If not, is there any way I can watch the recordings on the Hopper after my Dish service is cancelled?

The technician said he could have Dish send me a box to return the old Hopper after the transfers completed. But, he thought they were done so he took it with him. Oh well, I was able to move a bunch of our recordings to an external drive before he came so we still have some of them. Hopper 3...

I'm transferring a big folder that had about 150 recordings. Says it will take 923 minutes yet so I'm going to bed. :) Does anyone know if the technician would make the transfer for me with an Ethernet cable when he brings the new Hopper 3?
