Since the update to S418, my DVR screen has a new problem. When finishing a recording, and deleting it, it returns to the DVR screen as normal. The problem occurs when you want to watch the next show, by date, (no folder view) and scroll down the page. It will never reach the end of the list...

The wiring diagram shows connecting three leads from a 1000.2 to a duo node without using a DPP switch. As these three are for individual satellite locations, and are not combining multiple sats on a single lead, could you attach three separate DP LNB's to the duo node without using a switch?

I like my Sony RM-AX4000 for the 622. I run a 622, 921, HDTV and Surround with it. Fully customizable using the laptop for programming and it also can learn from other remotes.

Keeping it hooked up to the dish, even though it is not activated, is a real advantage. It will still receive software updates, and starts up without problems with loss of signal. It will act just like it did when it was activated except the program guide will show all channels in "red" (not...

Even if it can "see" a satellite, the locals will not show up on the program guide. You can still record, but you will have to set it up like a VCR, entering start, stop, and chanel info. This is how I use my old 921.

I installed a Dish 1000 myself (per the directions) last weekend and had to increase the elevation a couple degrees to get 129 to come in strong enough. This decreased 119' signal down from 125+ to 102, but increased 129 from 50 to 86.

I am using a 921 on a Sony Wega with the composite video. I have the 921 always set to HD mode, and receive SD and HD content. The Sony changes modes to match the input from the 921.
