Update: I used the 508 to check the cables going to the 721. The 508 detects the DP Quad on both cables and works perfectly. Could this be a bad 721?

Not sure how to test for frequency drift. I don't have another dual or quad.

cleared the switch martix, reattached cables and re-ran switch test. Same result.

I'll try clearing the martix again. I have new RG-6/QS cable 25' to a 2.4 GHz grounding block then 25' to 721; times 2
