FREE C-Band dishes in New Mexico

Wow. How much for the house, it might be easier to move to New Mexico than to move those antennas.

    Brand new 311

Hmm. Brand new out of the box means it would be able to take a software upgrade potentially from a different satellite - as in, is Bell Canada still using those or did they go all MPEG-4 too?

I have an owned Wally and,,,,,

I "asked nicely" to several chat reps and got the answer that this is a standard fee that cannot be waived under any circumstances. Maybe it works better over the phone?

How did you accomplish such a feat, getting Dish to waive a fee?

Guide probably will work but I believe the DVR functions are tied to the account. I'm guessing you paid a one-time fee to enable it?

    Anik F3 118 discussion

Now that Dish has ceased their international services which used Anik F3 at 118.7 W, maybe it will be used for something else. Questions that come to mind: - that satellite was circular polarity, Ku FSS band. Is the polarity scheme in the "hardware" of the satellite or controlled by the uplink...

    Satellite 118 is gone

Interesting that 77, 118, and 129 were removed when those satellites were no longer in use, but 105, 121, and 148 are still in the software.

Hopper 3 Version 392 is Here

Can't say I've seen that behavior but it doesn't surprise me. I have seen the Hopper reboot sporadically if the OTA signal is weak, even if you're not viewing that weak channel currently but it was the last thing that the OTA tuned to, still running in background I guess.

    Satellite 118 is gone

(or more accurately, no longer being used by Dish) Hopper 3 went thru a check switch procedure this morning. When done I looked and 118 is no longer in the switch matrix.

What dish network satellites are shut down.

The two SuperDish (but not with the original LNB cluster) in my back yard work pretty well for a few Ku FTA satellites.

    DPH34 switch

There is no SW34. There is a DP34 which is three DishPro LNBFs to four DishPro compatible receivers. This is different than the DPH34 which is the same as the DPH42 but for only three inputs and four outputs and cascadable. To say what's compatible, we really need to know what type of...

    H388 - Hopper 3 - 02/19/2025

Yes, and those incompatibilities just get worse with each new iteration.

    H388 - Hopper 3 - 02/19/2025

Yes, there were always a few problems but now there are more. As long as I've had the H+, only the red button of the four colored buttons works, though the colored indicators are still there on the screen implying that the green and yellow buttons should work, but they don't. Also the record...
