Sounds great and all but did I miss something, yea the hardware sounds nice but whats the point in having all this HD equipment with no HD to watch..I signed up ofr D* after voom and got all the channels for free for 3 months. Feels like I dont have any HD...

same problem here with ota Hd.. I get a black screen with purple chaser marks that flick through the screen..Happens occassionally when watching program but almost always happens for 2 seconds or so between commercials

Yea same here...... For some reason the voom transfer doesnt excite me one bit and could care less its on E*... What did excite was the whole voom experience, the cool remote that lights up, the cool menu display....yes voom21 was a kick ass bonus and the east and west feeds of HBO's etc were...

Do the voom channels that are on E* now look as good as when the voom channels were on voom... Also i wonder how many E* subscribers that have been E* subs for awhile have bought the voom package. Probably none have bought it and just the former voom subs have...

I think you got that backwards you might want to edit your post.. Either that or you never saw voom or your glasses are screwed up...

It was a very good interactive cd. Very good picture animation and then you could point and click on options etc to learn about HD technology in general, what voom could offer you that others couldnt and a whole variety of information of why the Voom experience is 'clearly' better then and other...

I decided to not join the E* bandwagon for now.. I switched to D* after vooms boom and after knowing of voom21 going to E*. I too will wait and see what happens until june or july...

I still have my voom interactive cd-rom that they sent me in the mail. Probably will sell it on ebay....anybody want it?

I think D* will blow E* out of the water sometime in the near future...I hope. Yes E* has the upper hand at the moment but i dont think what E* did is the answer to the HD problems. I think D* will become the better HD provider in the future. I just hope that when they have their HD lineup ready...

It was locals that killed them the most.... I have heard plenty of forums say I ordered voom and did not get my locals and cancelled voom....Would of been a problem for me except i got a huge attic and a huge antenna..marketing was crapola, sears c'mon they suck.... I dont think anybody goes...

I agree with you 100%. I am not switching over to E*. I feel very let down by the whole V* issue and i will not in any attempt try to fatten E*'s pockets or james d ' s pockets...They sold us out, and V* or should i say cablevision now is getting a kickback for everyone switching to E*..Whats...
