Hold a flashlight in your hand and move it in an arc motion using only your wrist as pivot. See the reflection on the wall. Then tilt your arm slightly up or down or sideways and see where the arc ends up now. This is why you will not get any satellites other that your true south.

It has been a while since my last post, but today i saw a C-KU combo lnb BSC621 C band and KU band LNBF 4DTV I have a 1.2m motorized dish and a couple fortec receivers (lifetime ultra and classic) Should I look into getting one of these lnbs? they are farely cheap. Thanks.

Hi Tim, Sorry for the delay in my response. The reception improved moving the LNB away from the dish. The lnb mount has a round hole to bolt to the arm. I turned the hole into a slot by cutting off the material between the hole and the end of the mount. Then added a big washer to the bolt...

One thing that I forgot to mention is that on my digiwave dish the focal point for the lnb is further back than what the bracket allows for, so I cut a slot where the hole for the bolt is on the bracket and was able to slide it further back and achieved higher quality around 5% more. You may...
