Dish must have change how they do the guide mapping for the 942. I noticed today the OTA 13-1 now has guide information. Yipee no more manual timers for HD!:)

I agree! I would expect guide information for all my locals and sub channels. Especially since I sub to the local programming.

Same problem in Sacramento area. Seemed to clear up at some time but not sure when.

I am trying to compare apples to apples by using the only two channels I have in HD on Voom and Cable (ESPN and HBO.) The picture quality is sharper on my cable over Voom. Don't get me wrong it is a great picture but not a "sharp" as expected.

When I first saw HD Cable on my system there was a WOW factor. The picture with Voom simply did not have the same effect. I am hopeful that there will be improvements to the picture very soon. To me the picture is simply not as sharp as the same HD cable channels. I will give them a chance...

Vicki, don't fret. My OTA are coming in and look very good. All it took was resetting the STB. Don't know why Voom would not have suggested that. I still think the antenna upgrade is warranted. I just hope it is the CM4228. I like how it looks and it is very powerful.

I am a beta user for my cable (small local company) HD program. The cable is sharper and more crisp than Voom. I am only able to compare ESPN, HBO and Discovery.
