Dish just came out to change my setup. Now I only see 61.5 and 72. I am in NY near Albany. Should I see 77 as well? If so do I need to have Dish come back out? Thanks.

Hello, I am in the Albany, NY DMA. I currently have a 1000.4 and 500 dish looking at 110, 119, 72 and 61.5. I am told by dish I need to upgrade but the CSR could not tell me which satellites I will need. Which satellites do I need to see? Do I really need to change my setup? Thanks.

Hi, I left D about 2 years ago due to CS issues and audio dropouts using HR21. I am with E and am generally happy but want 2 hd outputs per box not one. I am thinking about returning to D with HR24. Has D fixed the audio dropouts? When watching 24 on Fox HD the dropouts made it impossible...

Yes, 1 dish is on the front of the house, 1 on the rear.

Had D* then Time Warner Cable. Could not stand the horrible DVR. Had E* installed yesterday by a local E* installer. WOW!!! The picture quality blows Time Warner amd D* away. I suggest a local installer. He understood my needs and did a FABTASTIC job. Well, I am happy to be bask!

Any Albany, NY installer you can reccomend?

I attempted to get an install but LOS was an issue unless the one of the dishes was placed on the front of my house (wife no-go). The installer was going to use 2 dish 500s. Could I use a 1000.4 in Albany, NY. The installer thought no as I would lose 2 sd locals that do not have an HD feed...
