HBO programming completely sucks now anyway. Besides GoT I hardly watch anything from them, they actually did me a favor by saving me money. I would rather pay for HBO Now for the months GoT is on and then drop it. Thanks AT&T. No worries here hold out as long as you want Dish I am not leaving.

Thats why the best thing to do is your own research and try to get an unbiased version which is hard to do. Too many people listen to a source because its what they want to hear and filtered to their liking.

I got the same issue on two hoppers plus my Joey every few days can't sync to the hopper its linked to. Just got these last November and everything was great until this update. This is basic stuff guys you need to test your software more thoroughly before sending it out the door.

thanks, the service person I talked to was admittedly new but was clueless. He was for sure the drive would need to be formatted and didn't even know you could use and OTA antenna with a USB adapter.

If I upgrade from a 722 to a Hopper will I be able to use the programming on my hard drive that I use with the 722 or will I have to reformat it? Also the service person said he was new and couldn't answer, if I hook up a OTA antenna with the USB adapter does it use one of the available tuners...

I have been on the phone countless times with "tech support" and all of them have me do the same thing over. It worked when they had my receiver authorized differently but now they come back with since you only have the NFL ticket and no base package it won't work. Do you think otherwise?
