Don't quite know if I have understood your setup correctly, but you could use an AB switch in reverse. Only one room or receiver could be used at a time. Run the coax feed from the dish to the TV-out. Input-A would be for bedroom and Input-B would be for living room.

The only time people would laugh would be if you didn't ask for advise.
The best method I have found is to cut the RG6 about 6 to 8 feet from the base of your mount. Strip the cable, then put a connector on both ends. Put the Sat Finder in the line. You just need to be able to lay it flat...
1 1/4" galvanized pipe works perfectly. That gives you an OD of 1 5/8". Any pipe larger than 1 1/4" would have an OD to great to slide the mounting assembly over. Even PVC pipe is good if you aren't planning to raise the mast too far above the tripod. Much cheaper and easier to work with...

Release Sat button and enter...
The DP34 has inputs for 3 sats and 1 OTA. Outputs for 4 receivers and outputs for 3 more DP switches and the OTA. So, you can cascade to multible switches and receivers.

The positive side is though, that with the DP34 switch, you are able to add an OTA antenna without changing the switch. With the DP34 the 3 sats and the OTA would feed up to 4 recievers through...
You can pretty much fine tune your signal strength with a sat-finder. Start with the meter level at 5 and then adjust the dish very slowly until the level 10 is reached. Turn the level back to 5 and slowly adjust until it reaches 10 again. Keep repeating the steps until it wont reach 10 and...
