Yeah, duh, that's the obvious thing to do, of course. But it's cold here, lots of trees, I'm not camping, nothing is setup, and it was just a simple question. I'll get to the actual setup later, probably early spring when we take our first trip. Thanks for the help.

My Playmaker took a dump, and I got a good deal on a King Tailgater VQ4500. My question is, can I hook it right up- plug and play- or am I going to have to download some software and go through some procedure. I haven't been able to hook it up at home yet to try anything. Thanks for any info!

DISH Playmaker, Wally receiver w/perfect view of the southern sky; no obstructions. Everything coming up as it should. Good strong signal; captured the satellites no problem. Next day, lose signal strength. Go through the whole process, no problem. Then loses signal again within a few minutes...

Thanks for getting back. No other issues; OTA channels come in fine, including the audio over the RV sound system.

I have had similar problems. Anxious to see how things work out.... I've even gone to RG11 to help the signal problem. Supposedly no signal loss. Also wondering if it's a Wally problem.

I have a Wally/Playmaker setup for my RV. Last place I camped, and also here at home, I have a fairly clear sky to the south, and am able to connect to the satellite. Usually only pulling in 2 satellites and getting a signal of about 45. Never more than 50. My problem is , the picture keeps...

Playmaker dual automatic satellite finder, Wally receiver and the cable that came with the dish. I believe it's RG6. I tried hooking up back through the trailer receptacle, and it works now. I'm really baffled why it didn't work before, but I'm not complaining. Thank you guys for the input.

New to the forum; hope you guys can help. I used to have DirecTV for my RV. I would run a cable from the dish to my SAT receptacle on the outside of the RV and then run the cable from the receptacle inside to the receiver. Everything always worked just fine. Reason being is because, as you guys...
