P387 gave back the OTA guide info, which I was very, very happy about. No more printing the listings from TVGuide.com for my wife. This morning I got notice for another software "upgrade", and I'm afraid to do it because I don't want to lose the guide info again. Any word on what's in this update?

Seems like since this P384 release I keep getting the Smartcard not authorized message frequently when I turn to the movie channels. Then I have to wait a minute or two for it to go away. Wonder if this is an introduced "feature" to get us 811 owners to upgrade.

I'll print the local listings off TVGuide.com before I pay Dish $5/month for local channels that I get for free OTA. If I owned a DVR the benefits of that Advantage Package would probably be worth paying the extra buck though.

Looks like to get that channel you would need an upgrade to the dish on your house. If I were you I'd call Dish customer service and ask what they can do for you so you can get this channel. They may offer to upgrade you to a Dish 1000 (possibly at your expense, I'm not sure). It's not an issue...

Existing customers can also get $10/month off the HD package for 10 months, making the 622 free. At least that is what I was offered this morning.
