Gave Equipment Back To Dealer, Dish Keeps Calling Anyway

How do I get Dish to stop threatening me? I cancelled my contract within the first 180 days. The CSR said at the time (And my contract confirms) that I have to return the equipment to the dealer I purchased it from. I returned it to the dealer that day, and have a receipt. But the Dish...

    speedtv in HD

I'm new to Dish as well and as I understand it, the hold up has something to do with a lawsuit between Dish and Fox Networks regarding FoxNews and the programming tier it appears on. I think that lawsuit has been resolved, but bad blood remains. As a result, other Fox channels and HD channel...

dish network: what a nightmare!! had no choice went with direct tv.

I understand why a retailer would use a contract. I don't find fault with that. But as a new customer, that business relationship is something that is not often explained well enough. I had a neighbor (before I moved into the neighborhood) that used a local retailer, and signed the standard...

dish network: what a nightmare!! had no choice went with direct tv.

The thing no one mentions about a local retailer is that there's often a second contract with them, with a separate cancellation fee over and above the Dish contract and cancellation fee. So unless you like being on the hook for $400, $500, or even possibly $600+ in cancellation fees, be very...

622 "Hard Shutdown"Itself While Watching TV

Were you changing channels between OTA and satellite? I experienced a spontaneous reboot on my 722 after some issues with OTA channels. Thread here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-network-forum/146367-stange-problem-722-ota-local.html

Stange Problem with 722 and OTA local

I'm new to Dish and not exactly sure what you mean by separator - but if you're talking the 'splitter' type device at the DVR end, then yes I've got one.

Stange Problem with 722 and OTA local

BINGO!! I have never seen this problem, until I tried the steps you just described above using the up/down function. I ALWAYS tune either from the guide screen or by direct entry (i.e 00701 to tune to 7-1 OTA). I never use the up/down function. (Just a habit) I have never seen the problems...

    My Network TV HD?

AFAIK, myNetworkTV is not available nationally and is only available with a local channel package. Thus you would have to look on the Dish Network website, plug in your address/zip code to get the list of locals available in your market and see what's available in HD.
