How do I get Dish to stop threatening me?

I cancelled my contract within the first 180 days. The CSR said at the time (And my contract confirms) that I have to return the equipment to the dealer I purchased it from. I returned it to the dealer that day, and have a receipt.

But the Dish system thinks I still have to return it to them. They've sent me a box, left a message threatening my credit and now UPS called today saying I have a 'pickup' from Dish scheduled!

Every time I call a CSR, we do the dance where they read the script that says I have to send it back to them. After reading the script three times, they put me on hold and come back and say 'oh, you're OK - there's a note that says you returned it to the dealer'.

And yet the phone calls keep coming.

How do I stop this?

Get that receiver back in your hands and send back to Dish!
Your local provider clearly has not done that.

Show the receipt to your local store.

Could be a violation of Federal Laws. Maybe they would not want that to happen!

Good Luck!
