I mounted a Wineguard GS2200 on top of the pole for my DISH and am receiving over 30 Chicago locals, and I'm about 35 miles west of downtown. It looks like a wing, and it has an amplifier. THe only channel it misses is Channel 2, which hardly anyone can pickup.

I had it for a while on my 2 - 622's, but it went away with one of the upgrades. It hasn't shown up on my 722 yet.

:confused:Has anyone else noticed that the signal strength on A&E HD - TP 27 on 129 is among the lowest on 129. I can barely pull in 50, while TP's 30 & 32 seem to be 75 & above. TP's 7 & 11 are in the upper 60's. But A&E is bar far the worst reception of the HD Channels.

I just read in the notes of the retailer chat that if you are swapping or upgradeing to an MPEG4 unit and must use OTA to get HD locals, they will provide and install the antenna. If you are a new customer, then it will be a free install with the purchase of a $49 OTA antenna.

The Dish receiver will not pick up any HD signals without some type of antenna attached. You can verify what stations are available in your area at antennaweb. Enter your address and the site will return the direction the antenna must point to pickup the stations. I am using a Winegard Sensor...

Here's the question. If I purchased a DPP 44 switch and a separator, can I use a single run to support the 811 and 508 attached to my HDTV? Currently I have two runs, but I am moving to a new home and would prefer the single run. That and the 921 is still to expensive - this configuration...
