where to buy parts for BUD

My neighbor just gave me a 10 ft fiberglass dish that he had been storing out on his old place, to help me replace my 6ft metal dish that got severely damaged by a storm ,( great guy ) only problem is some low life's have been hitting the place for scrap metals and they stole the brackets for...

Good luck going down 4 ft in these mountains with anything short of a backhoe... And it had best be a good one :-) this is nsaty rock here. All ground rods have to laid in horizontally, there simply isn't any driving one down unless you happen to have a friend with a well drilling rig....with...

Just went BAD out of plumb, mind you this thing was concreted in 2 feet down and 2 feet in a cross in ea direction( I.e. 4 f across). There was no shift in the pole itself, the entire stinking mountain moved!

Well here's a wild one for the books. I had a few days tuned in then suddenly nothing. I figured the prehistoric lnbf I had, gave up ( good enough excuse as any to replace it:-) but popped new one on and still nothing.. After a few days of head scratching, checked the dish mount pole.... Still...

I like that the Amiko lets you pick if you want anything to change. So far this thing has done everything its supposed to... Now if everything else would, I'd be in good shape:-) At least my old lnbf decided to function long enough to try things out, and as far as the v. Box motor...

That was the absolute first thing I did once I discovered the internal access to the control applicationlast night. Everything is safely backed up and tucked away. I was getting pretty nervous about it having had a few things go belly up after auto updates, and every time customer support...

I stumbled across that in an insomniacs induced stupor last night, but I'm surprised I didn't program the thing to paddle itself to Tahiti :-) This newfangled stuff is pretty nifty. It look like I was off a sat or two, looks like I zeroed in on Anik f1, but I'm getting a better scan now. I was...

Unfortunately, the app required for all that nifty advanced stuff to work like backups won't download tonight, kept getting message corrupted file at source, I sent them an email, I bet it will be straightened out by noon, I have it shut down till then. After living off 3PBS channels for the...

No joke, the set bolts dug grooves in the post and I spent a couple weeks with auto body tools straightening the dish frame out (still a few small ouches in the screen, but not enough to paralyze it)

Re installing BUD on new site..arrrrgh

It's all becoming temporary moot as my old lnbf apparently is dead as a doornail so off to order another. At least all the links in the chain will be new again :-) ISO far I'm impressed with that amiko unit, instead of setting on a sat and being asked a gazillion setup options, that all have to...

Have a number of satellites experienced an orbital shift in the past few years?. I hadn't used my setup for a few years since an errant hurricane blew through and knocked everything out at the old house, but I went to re check aiming asngles for a giggle, and what had averaged out around 45 deg...

I lucked out yesterday, office depot had a deal, 1 tb portable drive with a 16g flash drive for 60 bucks, then the unit gets here and I find there is a slot for an internal drive, so I scavenger a brand new one I had bought for a laptop that was about to go, so I'm all set, By the way, if by...

When you say USB drive, is that meaning flash drive or external laptop drive housing, or external burner or??? Pardon my ignorance but you are talking to someone who cut his teeth on Fortran and punch cards, with insane collections of hardware around here, but I find if I take a break for a...
